Our Fleet of Specialised Liquid Waste Trucks
ALS’ trucks consists of an elite fleet of purpose built trucks. Our fleet consist of vacuum tankers specifically designed to provide the best possible services in the liquid waste industry and tippers for green and solids waste handling along with commercial composting equipment.
12000L Liquid Waste tipping Vacuum Tanker
Recently purchased, this tanker is licensed with DWER for standard pump outs including septics, grease traps. With 3000L of washdown water built into the tank its also capable for doing stormwater sumps, media tanks and cleanup jobs.
12000L Liquid Waste Vacuum Tanker
This unit is our newest tanker to go on the road, it was custom built in house to our requirements and placed onto a brand new 2016 Volvo FE truck. The unit is still compact enough to get in and around houses to do septic or grease trap pump outs but also large enough to move higher volumes of liquid waste. It’s fitted with a high volume vacuum pump driven by a 28Hp engine. It has all primary and secondary cut off valves as required for transporting controlled waste under DWER. This unit fills up in approximately 9minutes and carries 40m of suction hose, we have also fitted a 4500kg tow bar, so when required we can take a trailer onsite with wash water or pressure cleaning equipment.
16000L Liquid Waste Vacuum Tanker
This is our largest rigid tanker of our fleet. Its 16000L tank is perfect for getting into tricky places a bigger semi tanker can’t but still great for moving large volumes of waste in a short period, perfect for pump station failures, floods or emergency pump outs. It’s also fitted with compulsory primary and secondary cut off valves to prevent overfilling or spillage and is also fully licensed with DWER to transport controlled waste. This unit can fill in 12minutes and carries 50m of suction hose.
25000L Liquid Waste Vacuum Tanker & 2x 26000L Liquid Waste Tanker, 1x Road train tankers
We currently have 2x semi tanker and 1x semi vacuum tanker, these are great units for moving huge volumes of liquid waste from abattoirs, sewerage plants or large dams/ponds. We regularly use them for waste transfer from facility to facility. Abbotts have the only controlled waste semi tankers in the Great Southern and are willing to travel if required, approximate fill time for these unit is 20-40 minutes subject to density and as with all our tankers are licensed with DWER for controlled waste.
Tri-axle tipper and prime mover
Our tri-axle tipper is licensed with the DWER for the transportation of controlled solids waste i.e. contaminated soil. As most people may not be aware that even contaminated soils still require accreditation with DWER and the appropriate documentation to support each.
Green waste tub grinder
Used for grinding wood materials into smaller particles, to aid in faster breakdown in the composting process or making a mulch product
Utes
Our utes are also licensed for packaged waste, meaning we can collect drums of waste including oil filters, used rags etc. At our yard we also stock various size hoses and fittings to be able to complete any job or connect to almost any fittings. We are able to custom make some fittings in the event of emergencies. All our trucks are equipped with the necessary spill kits as required by DWER. They also carry all equipment that we would normally require to complete a standard job and all work completed is done to comply with the Controlled Waste Regulations 2004 and any other regulations for the industry.
